At Bridgewaters Bed & Breakfast our guests enjoy exploring the quaint little river towns on the Great Mississippi. Or, meander through the antique and craft shops, or the art galleries, one of which is owned by John Runion, a famous watercolor artist who has painted the many steamboats which dock in Wabasha. Bridgewaters is close to several state parks where hiking and birding are at their best. We were also home to Harry Smith and his camera crew who used the inn as a base while shooting pictures and videos for a piece on eagle for CBS News. Wabasha has one of the largest concentrations of wintering bald eagles in the lower 48 states. Come visit the new National Bald Eagle Center in Wabasha! We also have 2 marinas, golf courses, and skiing, as well as hunting and fishing. Not to mention a wonderful museum Arrowhead Bluffs. Of course everyone loves to eat and we are fortunate to have some fabulous restaurants nearby. Linger a night or more and enjoy the many attractions of the area. Next time you wish to explore a quaint little river town , take the Great River Road (Hwy 61) and look us up. On the wings of each season:
